What types of workshops do you offer?
We run public weekend candle-making and perfume-making classes suitable for solo attendees or small groups of friends. Each class lasts approximately 2 hours and is designed for adults aged 16 and over.
Can I book a private event?
Public weekend classes are open to all attendees and cannot be booked as private sessions. If you would like to book a private event, email us at orders@londonrefinery.co.uk.
Do I need any experience?
No experience is needed, our classes are beginner-friendly and guided by an experienced teacher.ย
How do I book a workshop?
You can book online via our website. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive all the class details.
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Please check our booking policy at the time of purchase, as rescheduling or cancellations may be subject to our terms.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10โ15 minutes before the class starts.ย
Can I bring food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Drinks can be purchased at The Elgin, our partner venue.
Can I attend if I have allergies?
Yes, please let us know in advance if you have allergies so we can advise on oils and ensure a safe experience.
Are there any safety considerations?
Yes. When candle making, hot wax is used during the session, so guests should follow all instructions given by the teacher. Pregnant guests or anyone with nut allergies and health conditions should inform us before attending so appropriate precautions can be taken.
Do you have wheelchair access?ย
Our workshops take place in a first-floor room at The Elgin. Unfortunately, there is no lift access at present.
Can I bring my dog?
As much as we love dogs,ย unfortunately due to oil sensitivity, and to ensure the comfort of all guests, the class is not suitable for dogs.
