Make a Soane's Kitchen Garden Inspired Candle and enjoy some delicious canapés from Soane's Kitchen whilst sipping on a refreshing welcome cocktail.

We are looking forward to The Soane's Kitchen Candle Making event in at the Soane's Kitchen Ealing on Friday.

We will be making blends inspired by the Soane's Kitchen Garden. The garden even in the winter is full of herbs, thyme, sage, and rosemary and in the summer the garden is full of flowers and vegetables which complement each other, which helps to prevent and bugs and disease.

'The Soane's were keen gardener's recording what they planted in their notebooks and accounts. They grew fruit, vegetables, and herbs for use in cooking and preparing medicines. One of the first things that Soane did after buying Pitzhanger Manor was to design the grounds. He decided to extend the walled kitchen garden of the original early 18th-century house with its strawberry beds and mulberry tree. The garden has been restored to the time of the Soanes, a team of volunteers tending to the heritage fruit, vegetable and flowers'
