Experimenting in The London Refinery... How to make a Coffee Scrub

We have been experimenting with some new ideas in the studio at The London Refinery and have inspired by waste material around London. Most days I like to drop into Artisan Coffee in Ealing for a coffee in the morning. I love their latte with a drop of 'Oatly' oat milk if anyone is buying! They also have a wonderful workshop space that we use for our perfume and candle making masterclasses.

They were offering their leftover coffee grinds for pick up in the evening after a full day of coffee making. I've been picking some up to use and experiment with and we have created a coffee scrub product that I have been testing at home.

The London Coffee Scrub - 500ml
All waste coffee grinds sourced from The Artisan Coffee School in Ealing.

This coffee body scrub is easy to make and nourishing for dry skin. A coffee scrub is great for exfoliating your skin and removing dead skin cells. Exfoliating your skin with body scrub has many benefits, making your skin look more lively and rejuvenated. It removes those dead skin cells that clog your pores.
We are testing combination coffee grinds and oils like cinnamon, vanilla, clove, jojoba and almond oils. Watch this space for the new product and workshops using coffee grinds. #reuse
