We partnered with Bang & Olufsen for a private press candle workshop. We hosted a candle-making class on the 21st March for 15 top-tier lifestyle and tech journalists from titles such as Vogue, GQ, Stylist, Grazia, WIRED, Wallpaper* at Bourne & Hollingsworth in Clerkenwell.
Scandinavian Fragrance Blends
At the tailored candle workshop, guests could pick from three different blends for participants to make. Each blend was inspired by a Scandinavian summer.
PINE CANDLE - Norwegian Forest Walk
Essential Oil Notes: Pine Needle, Fir Tree, Cedarwood
These wood-derived essential oils are distilled from the heartwood, balsam and resins of the tree. The aromatherapy benefits of woodsy essential oils include strengthening, balancing and elevating.
SKY CANDLE - Swedish Fields
Essential Oil Notes: Lavender, Vetiver, Geranium, Clary Sage, Lemon
The fragrance has a fresh aroma, a clean, crisp open air scent. Blended with essential oils with a green aroma creating a grassy, vernal, fresh aroma. The herbaceous essential oils have green, earthy scents from the herbs they are extracted.
CLAY CANDLE - Norwegian Coast
Essential Oil Notes: Lavender, Patchouli, Cedarwood
The aromatherapy benefits of earthy essential oils include stabilizing, anchoring, and grounding. These earthy-scented oils embody the scents of sweet soil, fallen leaves, and freshly dug roots.
