The Candle Making Workshop
Our bridal shower package: The candle making workshop will last for 2.5 hours and hosted by our expert candle makers at the London Refinery. We will take hens through all the steps in order that they leave our workshop inspired to develop their own fragrances and give them the skills to make a soy candle at home all while enjoying a glass of prosecco!
Hens will start by developing their own scent story, learning about how their sense of smell works and how it affects their mood and emotions. We encourage them to be inspired by memory in order to create their own personal scent profile for their candle. We will then provide a range of 50+ 100% pure essential oils to blend in order to evoke their scent in a beautiful natural candle. Our team will then lead them through the science of candle making- heating the wax to exact temperatures, blending the oils, infusing the wax, choosing the correct wick- and they will finish the workshop by pouring their own, natural, 40 hr burn time, vegan soy candle to take home (or delivered after the party).
It doesn't matter if your hen's have never tried candle or perfume making before, as your teacher will provide all of the blending equipment, mixing jugs, whisks and glassware, along with plenty of guidance and support along the way.

We have a range of beautiful locations from our London Refinery Studio in Ealing Broadway, to Hackney's Martello Hall's Private Cocktail Bar, or Brick Lane's 91 Living Room and West London's private space at The Elgin in Notting Hill. We can also discuss using your own location in the UK or abroad.
Bridal Party Planning and Styling
We can also design and manage your hen party. We work with a range of exceptional event designers and stylists who can create the x-factor for your evening. From the venue styling, floral displays and invites, to the canapés and cocktails we can design to your specification and style.

Costs
Packages start from £65 with the workshop, hosts, prosecco and the venue all included. We have a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 35 people. Other numbers can be discussed. Please email orders@londonrefinery.co.uk for information.
