The process of candle-making is definitely mindful, but also inspiring! It’s completely rekindled a fascination into essential oils. I learnt so much tonight…and now really want to do the perfume class. I love things that remind me of my science roots, but blend in my creative loves. Lucy spoke about one’s aroma-story. I like that concept. I think I’m going to name this candle ‘Mindful Moments’. Mindfulness helped claw me back from the dark times of the last few years. Within that, focusing on sound/smell/touch has been fundamental. Taking time for myself to be in the moment, was exactly what drew me to wanting to learn this lovely skill…so my first candle will be homage to that. I cannot recommend this class enough!! PS.
